Dairy and Health

Breast Cancer

No matter how beautiful breasts may be, they are prone to cancer. The chance of contracting breast cancer from consuming dairy is increased significantly due in part to milk containing the Bovine Leukemia Virus (BLV),  Insulin Growth Factor-1 (IGF-1), and anabolic steroids. A study of 1,893 women diagnosed with early-stage invasive breast cancer revealed that eating more high-fat dairy products was linked to higher death rates. As little as half a serving per day increased risk significantly.  p. 132 of Milk Madness

Prostate Cancer

When comparing the consumption of saturated fat in men, it was discovered that men in the upper tercile of saturated fat consumption had three times the risk of dying from prostate cancer than those in the lower tercile. Milk is high in saturated fat, and its consumption is significantly associated with surviving prostate cancer. p. 146 Milk Madness
